My Trip to China , YunNan

Hello bloggie ! I'm back from my 8days China trip and i'm going to post and tell you what place i visited and many other things . This trip is really very fun and fruitful . I will never forget this trip ! Its gonna be a long long post .. Okay , let's start !

Day 1 (Singapore flight to KunMing)

After preparing all my luggaes and saying goodbyes to my family , my mum and i take a bus to Kallang MRT station to meet the rest of my relatives who are going with us at about 11 pm . Not long , they arrived . Going to the trip with me are my mum , my godparents , my 2 uncles , my 2 cousin and my two aunts . Oh ! And me of course . We then take a MRT to Changi Airport . As the time is still early , we went to all the terminal to stroll as our check in time is still not up to time . We went to terminal 3 for some supper at the foodcourt . At about 2.00 am , we started checking in our luggages . After that , we went in and shop in Duty free . At about 3.30 am then we went to take the flight . The whole journey takes about 3hr . Well , so sleeping time ...

Yawns ! Finally reached KunMing . Wow , when we went out of the plane and waiting for the bus to bring us in , the weather is very cold , about 12 degree . We reached there it is morning and that's why is will be colder . Went in the airport to collect our lugages . Went out the airport to find our tour guide . Well , found her . She 's quite pretty . In the bus she teach us some language of KunMing . In KunMing , we call the lady "Ah Si Ma " and the boys we call " Ah Hei Ge ". Wierd right . The lady do not like to be call us " Xiao jie " or miss cos is like calling a hostress .

Okay ! Started our journey , not to the hotel but to a place call " Daguan park " This place is bulit in the 29th year . It boast a 180 words anithetical couplet , the longest in china .







































































After visting the "Daguan park" , we went to the Nanping pedestrian street . Over there , it is more about some famous buliding and sculpture . The sculpture are mostly about YunNan 18 weird things . In YunNan , there are 18 weird things happening in YunNan only . I will tell you in later .

Finally , have the first taste of their daily meal . We had our lunch and it is so not suitable me . Nornally , i have lunch with only 4 dishes but in China , they used to have 12 dishes ! We wasted so many food .

Next , we went to a tea house . YunNan is famous in "Pu Er Cha " or pu er tea . They introduced some of their famous tea and they make some tea for us to drink . Well , i really don't know how enjoy tea , i just drink . Haha .

After visting the tea house ,we had our dinner . It was better than lunch . Finally we can go back to our hotel . It's call ' Wei Long hotel '. We go back early cos tmr we need to wake up early and walk the whole day . Good night !

Day 2 (KunMing - YiLiang)

Wake up at about 6.15 am , given the morning call at 6.00am . Wash up and went to the resturant to have our breakfast . Buffet . It doesn't suit me . Tasteless and not much variety . In the bus , we will given carnation from our tour guide . Flower is also famous in YunNan .














Started our journey to stone forest . About 1hr plus from the hotel . Oh , we are not staying in this hotel . Moving to the Yiliang hotel over there . Why is it call the stone forest ? Isn't it call rain forest of just forest ? It is call stone forest because YunNan do not have lots of trees , it have lots of mountian , and stone . It is famously known as "The First Wonder of the World". Stone forest is massive collection of gray limestone pillars , split by rainwater and eroded to their present fanciful form . You will be captivated by her immersse beauty.

Phew ! After visting the stone forest , we had our lunch . Next deestination is "Jiuxiang". "Jiuxiang" is famous for its magnificent caves , waterfalls and beautiful landscape . It is confirrmed that "jiuxiang" is the biggest caves clusters in china with the greatest number of caves and the most wonderful in cave scenic .

Day 3 (KunMing - Dali)

Wake up at about 6.30am , wash up and went downstair to have our breakfast . Its so cold down there . The morning weather is the coolest of all . Its a indoor resturant , why is it cold ? Because they opened the window . It freeze ! Don know why they are doing this .

We started the day to Colorful YunNan - Peacock Park. Colorful YunNan is a place where you can buy many things like herbs , Jade , silk all these . The tour was afraid that we would bought the fake stuff home so they decided to bring us here . Everything over here is real . If we are bored shoppping , there is a peacock park to stroll . There are lots of peacock , maybe a thousand ? But the peacock refused to opened there 'wings' . Haha ..















Our tour guide knows that after yesterday walk to the "Jiuaxiang" , our legs are aching because we had climbed 330 steps yesterday . So , she decided to bring us to do a leg massage . When we reach there , it actually is a herbal ' soaking leg' . After that , there is a massage but i didn't do the massage bacause i have not reach the age yet . There's a age limit.















After that massage , we had over lunch in a hotel . It was a seafood meal but i hardly see any . HAha ...

After lunch , we then take a 5hr bus to Dali . Sleeping time !Taken some scenary during the journey.

Wow ! After 5hr trip , finally reached Dali . We then changed the tour guide because each tour guide have its own part . Tour guide also said that the languges must be change . They called lady over here , "Jin Hua " as for boys there are called "Ah Pong Ge ". Haha , weird right ? When we reached there , it is about 5.30pm. We then visited the first destination to Dali , Mingzhu Square . It is to view the famous three Pagodas from afar.




























Finally had our dinner after such a long journey . After the meal , went to the Dali Ancient town for shopping until about 9.30pm . Oh ! the time in YunNan is the same as Singapore's . Went back to the hotel to sleep . Wow , the hotel is a 5 stars hotel ! It was so .. so .. luxuriously. Okay , again , sleeping time .. zzZzz

Day 4 (Dali - Lijiang)

After breakfast , we then proceed to "Tianlong Babu Movie studio" . (we are still in Dali) That place is all about the Emperor's life . The building are so smiliar with what i use to see in the television. Some of the drama is also film over there .

Next, we visited the tie-dyed cloth factory where you can observe the whole process of sewing and dyeing curtains and tablecloth. After that , we went to the butterfly spring . Over there , butterfly are everywhere .

We had over lunch at a resturant which cooks what the villagers eat.















After lunch , we then depart for Lijiang by coach , for about 4 hr journey . During the journey , i saw the snow mountain! It was so beautiful.




























When we reached there , it was about 5.00pm . We then change tour guide again . The tour guide also tell us that our languges calling those lady must change . For lady , we called " Pang Jin Mei". For boys we called " PAng Jin Ge". Another form of languges i learn today . Then had dinner and then we went to visit the Lionhill where we will be able to see the entire city of Lijiang ancient town and the whole of JAde dragon mountain.














After strolling for about 2hrs , it time to go back to the hotel . This time , the hotel is a resort . There is a housekeeper in the resort . It cooks for you , it clean for you . It like a maid . THere is television and internet .

Day 5 ( still in Lijiang )

Wake up in the morning to have our breakfast made by the house keeper . After breakfast , we then proceed our first destination to a place where they perform for us . I not sure what that place called . But the title of the performances is called directed by Zhang yimou. It was very cold . The tempreture is as low till 4 - 5 degree . I can't even watch the show properly , it ws freezing cold . The snow mountain view behind the stage is so beautiful .

Continue to visit to YufengTemple and Yu Zhu Qing Tian . Wow , the view of the Yu Zhu QIng Tian is the most beautiful scenary i ever seen .

Next , we proceed to the Ancient Town of ShuHe. It is regarded as the ancient town of the new Lijiang .

























































After strolling /shopping , we had our dinner and then go back to hotel . Got to wake up early tmr cos we are departing to Shangri-La . Goodnight .

Day 6 (Lijiang - Shangri-La)

Today , we will move on to ZHong Dian , also known as Shangri-La . En-route , see the first Bend of Yangtze river (长江第一弯). Over there , we came down from the bus , for toliet break and also for picture taking . Tour guide will also be change. Now , for lady we called " Zou Ma " . For man , we called " Zha Xi ".




















































































After photo taking , continue our journey to Shangri-La . Slowly , i saw many mist . Is like winterland.

Finally reached Shangri-La , had our lunch , it was steamboat . It was Delicious.

After lunch , we went to our first destination , Pudacuo Natural Reserve Park to visit Bitahai and Shudu Lake .

























































Next , we visited the Dukezong Ancient city . Every place you go , there is surely a Ancient town to stroll and shop.

























































































Well, finish our day in Shangri-la. Tmr early in the morning , about 5.00am, we need to wake up and go to the airport to fly back to KunMing . Have our Dinner . The dinner doesn't suit us . At about 8.30pm , everyone came to my room to have a so call "maggie noodle party."We bought some maggie noodle and we cook and eat . Eating and chatting together . Well , everyone have comment about the tour guide . I personally hate the Dali And Shangri-La tour guide , they sucks man. I think the KunMing one is the best . I Miss her lots . So does everyone . Haha .. okay , gonna catch some sleep , good night ..

Day 7 (Shangri-La Flight to KunMing )

Wake up at about 5.00 am . Had our breakfast and proceed to the airport . The airport is so small. The tour guide told us that it was the smallest airport and the least investment airport.




























THe whole journey is about 50min. From the top , i could see the snow mountain . It beautiful . The clouds just look like white candy floss . Soft and fluffy.
Reached KunMing at last. Oh , i saw the tour guide . Miss her so much .

Okay , our first stop , is to Flower market . In order to go there , we must walk pass the coffee market . By in the end , we also end up shopping . Sampling and trying .. Haha , delicious .















Okay , to the flower market . Wow , so many variety of flower . All so beautiful .

After shopping those goodys , had our lunch . It was a herbal meal . YumYum .















Next , to a silk company just opposite the herbal resturant . They told us about silk , their reproduction.

After visiting the silk company , we then go back to our hotel to rest . While others are resting , my family and relatives then go ... SHOPPING !!

We meet the tour guide at the lobby at 3.30pm . Just nice , we are not late . Okay , next , we visited the CuiHu park, a green world,with willow trees swaying gently on the dikes, and the surface of the lake is covered all over with lotus plants . In winter and spring , KunMing residents flock to the CuiHu park to feed the red-beaked gulls - there are thousand of them, which descend upon the lake . Those gulls are from California .





























Next , to the YuanTong temple . To pray .











































After a 1 hour journey , because of traffic jam , finally had our dinner at a place where many MP have gone to . It was call the expo . Where it will have performances and food . The place is so grand . The performances is nice but the food doesn't suit me .











































Our first dish , cross-bridge noodle . Very delicious . Its like a mini stemboat . There is a platter of ingredient . You have to put it in yourself and cook it . The soup has a layer of hot oil . It has a purpose to keep warm . So no matter how long you eat , the noodle will be still hot a tasty .














There are , from the bottom , clock wise , chicken (raw) , si chun vege , ham , sotong , carrots . In the middle , spring onion and fried pork fats !! My favourite !















The show started at about 6.30pm . The show is about arriving the emperor and performed for him .

After those great performances , it was about 8.30 pm liao . We then go back to the hotel . My relative decided , since it is the last night , why don't we go SHOPPING ! And then we went shopping till about 11pm+ . Went to have our supper Mac donald . I really think that it taste better than Singapore's one . It was a tempanyaki chicken burger with a cup of hot cocoa.

Day 8 (KunMing flight to Singapore )

I dunno why they love shopping so much . Since today is the last day , the tour guide decided to let us meet at the lobby at 10.30 am . But my relative wakes up at 7am and had breakfast and went shopping . Just made it in time .

We then take about 1hr journey to our lunch . It was also a resturant which perform . Just a few perfomances only


























































After the meal , we went to the Lousiwan Bazaar for shopping till dinner time . When i say BAZAAR , it was really BAZAAR . It was so big , its even bigger than the whole Orchard road . For example , for shoes only , it can be as big as takashimaya . Just only shoes only .
















About half an hour journey , we went to have our last dinner . It was a mushroom meal . Many kinds of mushroom in a stemboat .

After the meal , we then depart to the airport . I suddenly felt 依依不舍... Everyone then take turn to hug the tour guide . She really is a very nice person . Then a group photo is also taken . Will surely miss her and YunNan . You rule man ! Check in our lugages and then wait for the plane .

When we arrived to Singapore , it was 2am . There's no bus or MRT . So we decided to wait for the MRT . Almost spent our night over there . We had our very early breakfast over there . Miss the food over here . We then sit down chat chat . AT about 6am , the MRT station open . We then take the mrt and went home . When i reach home , immediately take a bath and ... Sleep . So tired ! Yawns ...
